Teeth Removal

Since teeth are both aesthetically and functionally important, all efforts are made in Holistic Dental Center to preserve them and avoid them being removed, but some cases require eventual tooth removal.

Dental removal starts with local anesthesia of the tooth to be removed and the surrounding area. General anesthesia is used in cases of buried teeth or if more than one tooth is to be removed. There are many ways to remove teeth depending on position and dental circumstances. In the case of buried teeth, the dentist may need to cut the gums to facilitate the process of removal, and sometimes the tooth is sectioned into 2 or 3 pieces before taking out.

After removing the tooth, a piece of gauze is placed on the wound, which should be enough to stop the bleeding. Your dentist may sometimes need to stitch the wound. The entire recovery time may take about two weeks.
